Yes! Suitcase of Joy is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, which means that your contributions are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.

How will I receive my tax deductible receipt?

When you donate, you will receive a receipt with your donation and our tax ID (EIN #84-4271034). We will email you a copy of your tax receipt at the end of every year. Thank you for your support of these deserving children.

How can I get involved?

First, thank you for your support! You can support our mission in several ways:

• Give: You can give a tax-deductible donation, either one-time or recurring, through our website or our pages on Facebook and Instagram. We accept major credit cards and PayPal. You can also mail a check to our address.

• Buy: Purchase new toys and school supplies and send them to our address below. Contact us if you have any questions about in-kind donations.

Can I send you books, toys, and school supplies?

Yes, we accept in-kind donations of new books, toys, and school supplies. If you feel inspired, we would love if you donated:

• Books: Children’s books, educational books, workbooks

• Toys: Building toys, games, jump ropes, soccer balls, pumps for soccer balls, toy cars, yo-yos, small dolls, and stuffed animals

• School supplies: Pencils, notebooks, paper, pencil sharpeners, scissors, erasers, coloring books, crayons, colored pencils, markers, rulers, and backpacks

How does Suitcase of Joy use donations?

100% of donations received by Suitcase of Joy go directly to helping children in need. We use the funds to buy school supplies and toys for children, and we are raising money to build schools in Africa.

Note: Credit card companies assess a 2-3% fee to process donations received via credit card. If you wish to avoid these fees, you can donate on Facebook (Facebook generously covers credit card fees on donations) or you can mail a check to our address.
