Bring joy
We believe a gift can bring joy and inspire hope to those who need it most.
We take books, toys, school supplies, clothing, and even soccer balls into remote villages and slums in Africa. The joy is overwhelming as some of the poorest children in the world receive unexpected gifts.
Bring education and share knowledge
We believe education can empower children to break the cycle of poverty and to lead joyful lives.
We can change lives by sharing with children the love of Jesus and the power of education. We give the children books, pencils, crayons, and school supplies so they can learn essential skills like reading, writing, and math.
All donations go directly to disenfranchised children
Since its inception in 2016, Suitcase of Joy proudly directs 100% of every donation towards programs that support underserved children living in villages, slums, and orphanages.
The Board of Directors, executives, and support teams all volunteer their time and receive joy as their reward.
*Credit card companies assess a 2-3% fee to process donations received via credit card. To avoid these fees, you can donate on Facebook (Facebook generously covers credit card fees) or you can mail a check to our address.
